What this converter does
Format conversion
Any supported image in, any supported image out. Transparency is preserved when the target format supports it, and flattened onto a colour you choose when it does not.
Resize and transform
Set exact pixel dimensions, rotate in 90° steps and flip horizontally or vertically. Useful for preparing avatars, thumbnails and favicons.
Quality control
For JPG and WEBP, a quality slider trades file size against fidelity. Each finished file reports how much smaller it became.
A note on AVIF and HEIC
AVIF images can be opened here, because current browsers decode them. They cannot be written, because no browser exposes an AVIF encoder to a web page. HEIC, RAW, PSD and TIFF are not listed at all, since browsers cannot decode them without a server.

Frequently asked questions
Which image formats can I convert to?
JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, BMP, ICO and PDF. These are the formats a browser can encode natively.
Can I convert HEIC photos from my iPhone?
Not here. Browsers outside Safari cannot decode HEIC, and doing it reliably requires uploading the photo to a server. On an iPhone you can change Settings → Camera → Formats to “Most Compatible” so photos are captured as JPG.
Does converting to JPG lose transparency?
Yes. JPG has no alpha channel, so transparent areas are filled with the background colour you pick in Settings. Use PNG or WEBP if you need to keep transparency.
Can I convert several images at once?
Yes. Drop as many as you like. Each file keeps its own target format and settings, and one Convert press processes the whole queue.
