How the page is laid out
Each image is placed on an A4 page in the orientation that suits it: landscape photos get a landscape page, portraits get a portrait page. The image is scaled to fit within a 36 pt margin and centred, so nothing is cropped.
Common uses
Turning a photographed document, receipt or ID into a PDF for an online form, or packaging scanned pages into something easier to email than a pile of images. Since nothing is uploaded, this is a sensible route for documents containing personal information.

Frequently asked questions
Can I put several photos into one PDF?
Each image becomes its own single-page PDF. To combine them into one document you would need a PDF merge tool, which cannot be done reliably in the browser and is therefore not offered here.
What page size is used?
A4, with the orientation chosen automatically to match the image and a 36 pt margin on all sides.
Is the PDF searchable?
No. A photo is an image, and no text recognition is performed. OCR requires server-side processing.
Is my document private?
Yes. The PDF is generated in your browser and never uploaded, which is the point of doing it this way.
